Zagreb is the the main town, the capital and the largest city of Croatia. The place is situated in the northwest part of the country, along the Sava river, and lies at an elevation of approximately 122 m above sea level.

Zagreb is a connecting point for different destinations In Europe like Belgrade, Budapest, Split, Rjeka, Dubrovnik,Ljubljana, Munich by train and by roads.

Zagreb Airport is the main international airport of Croatia, located 10 km South from the central railway station.

This is the primary hub for Croatian flag carrier Croatia Airlines. From Zagreb airport there are many low cost flights to Croatian seaside (Dubrovnik, Split).

The distance from is around 135-140 km and the ride takes around 1.30 -1.45 hours.

The average cruise speed is 120-130 km-h.
